I was one of the people at the Reading Group you came to in Shincliffe. I've just read your blog - and I'm so glad you enjoyed the night too. We certainly did. We've just been out for a meal all together to round off the year and in our discussion the poetry night was considered the most enjoyable throughout the year.Thank you again - I look forward to reading more of your work. Very best wishes. Sue Sandham

Dear Fiona,
I saw your poem which begins "Give me the courage to speak out." in a church magazine. An organisation called Christians Aware is producing not for profit work sheets entitled "Just Food" about overcoming malnutrition. Could we use your poem and does it have a title?

Thank you,

Dr John Moore

HI FI,

We used to work for Frontiers Foundation Operation Beaver in the Canadian Artic. I recognised you immediately even after 27 years.
I have been living in Namibia since 1984.
Drop me your e-mail adress please. I would love to hear from you.
Can you give me Colin Webster's e-mail adress. Would love to hear from him too.

Regards

Dear Fiona

"The Fionas" you mentioned a while ago has changed its name. It's now "The Kirstys"!!! But have a look at hydrohotel.net/kirstys.htm to see if you still like it. I hope so!

All the best

Hi. I am a Canadian living in British Colombia. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia. Herring is very special to me and no one understood that. I found your poem and loved it sooo much that I recorded myself doing it "spoken word" style. I hope that was OK...have a listen.
